To put it differently, if you disable an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any misspelled email address under the same domain name, you’ll receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital if you run some company, for example. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited bulk email messages, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only legitimate messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

If you host a domain name on our cloud web hosting platform and you have a cloud website hosting account, you will be able to activate the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain name. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section includes quite a few functions, but it is really simple to work with, so configuring a catch-all mailbox requires just a mouse click. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be displayed in this section in alphabetical order and you will just need to click the "Catch-all" button for the concrete address. Our system will warn you if there is already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either turn off the latter feature or pick another mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all feature is just as simple and takes yet another mouse click on the exact same button.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all feature can be activated with ease in case you have a semi-dedicated server plan with us. All the email addresses that you’ve created using the domains hosted in your account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you’ll find a tiny sign conveniently located directly next to each of them. With only a click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice provided that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with this option already enabled and there isn't active email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable the feature using the menu that will show up. If any of the conditions for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will warn you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
